Description
Albumen carte-de-visite photograph (1870s) of the Bishop of Gloucester from 1863 to 1905. Ellicott is depicted in full-figure standing with his right hand resting on the back of a chair and his top hat in the left. Photographed in John Beattie studio in Clifton (Bristol). Stamped signature on the back “John Beattie”.
