Albumen carte-de-visite photograph (1860s) of the Bishop of St. David’s from 1840 to 1874. Thirlwall is depicted in full-figure sitting on chair, resting his right elbow on a desk off to one side. Photographed by Ernest Edwards (1837-1903) photographer in London. Marked on the back “Ernest Edwards” .
