Legatura coeva d'amatore inglese in stile Arts & Crafts in pieno marocchino, titolo e bei fregi floreali in oro su dorso a nervi, piatti ornati da bordure in oro e a secco con al centro largo motivo floreale composto dai fregi floreali ripetuti, larghe dentelles interne in oro, tagli dorati. Edizione novecentesca di un classico della filosofia, impressa su carta forte e in attraente legatura d'amatore. Bella dedica autografa della legatorice, Maude Nathan , in antiporta: "Friendship maketh daylight in the undestanding, out of darkness+ confusion of thoughts". Maude Nathan (1870-1910). Buon esemplare, assai fresco, a pieni margini.
