Mottled calf gilt, boards framed by Greek key patterns, inner dentelles and title tooled on red morocco label to richly decorated spine. A.e.g., pink silk ribbon bookmark and pink endpapers with bookplate (coat of arms and motto “est melius clarum fieri, quam tempore nasci”) and another small paper label with initials “A. V.”. Just a few light scratches on the boards. A near fine copy in a luxurious binding.
