Bound in red morocco gilt, boards framed by triple fillets, inner dentelles and title tooled to spine with 5 raised bands. A.e.g., green silk ribbon bookmark and marbled endpapers with bookplate (coat of arms of the Right Honourable Wilmot Vaughan, 1st Viscount Lisburne (1728-1800) and his motto “non revertar inultus”). Some scratches on the boards, lightly bumped corners, little wear to the joints. A very good copy needing just some polishing in order to look fine. A23
