About the Book:-In the family of languages to which- English belongs, the Indo-European Family, Sanskrit is eldest brother. The parent language was spoken in a remote prehistoric time by a people living somewhere about the five rivers of the Punjab. This book is a collection of 488 Sanskrit proverbs written in Sanskrit, Telugu and their meanings in English. It has arranged alphabetically according to the Sanskrit language. The book itself is treasure, printed first in 1868 by the British Sanskrit scholar by the author. Full of wisdom and makes anyone marvel at the beauty in which he has been able to explain not only the literal translation of Sanskrit proverbs but also the symbolic context which is much-needed with some of these. It is printed in Devanagari and Telugu characters. The book is proved to be handy in the context of this language.
