Cooke, in Pater-Noster-Row, MDCCLXXVII [1777, Antiguo Testamento] y MDCCLXXV [1775, Nuevo Testamento].- 2 Vols. con [423 h.] y [171 h.] sin numerar respectivamente: incluyendo 97 láminas a plena página grabadas al cobre, aparte de varios índices de nombres, cronología, lugares, medidas, grabados y al final una lista de suscriptores; Folio imperial (40,5 x 27,2 cm); Impresión a dos columnas con interesantes notas al pie, letras capitulares; Ambos volúmenes encuadernados en un mismo tomo en Tela nueva.* Faltan los "Apocrypha" junto a sus 6 láminas, pero tanto el Antiguo como el Nuevo Testamento se encuentran completos con todas sus láminas. Perforaciones de polilla muy leves, parcialmente restauradas, en los márgenes blancos de algunas hojas, nunca tocando el texto o los grabados. Por lo demás señales habituales del tiempo, pero en general muy buen ejemplar, con el papel fuerte y limpio. Esta Biblia fue realmente compilada por Robert Sanders, aunque en la portada figura Henry Southwell, quien prestó su nombre por el pago de cien guineas. El reverendo Southwell fue rector de Asterby en Lincolnshire y miembro del Magdalen College de Cambridge. Los "Apocrypha" que faltan son los llamados Libros Deuterocanónicos, es decir los escritos incluidos en la Septuaginta o Biblia griega; deberían encontrarse entre el Antiguo y el Nuevo Testamento, pero el protestantismo los considera apócrifos (no confundir con los Evangelios Apócrifos), por tanto no sería de extrañar que quien reencuadernara el libro prescindiera voluntariamente de esta parte. El Nuevo Testamento está publicado dos años antes, pero desconocemos si éste fue el caso o si pertenece a una edición anterior; de todas formas ambos volúmenes presentan un aspecto totalmente homogéneo, con la misma caja de impresión.
